That about sums it up. Add to it the fact that at the speed we can currently make a spacecraft travel it would take it 60,000 years to get to the nearest star (4 light years away), and that The Milky way is 100,000 light years across, and it is only one of billions of galaxies… Meanwhile, we strut and fret our hour upon the stage… 🙂

‘Strut and fret our hour upon the stage’ yes! Was it MacBeth? Wouldn’t a star be too hot to approach? Or is that only a dying star like our Sun?

Yes, Macbeth. My point was the immense distances in Space, and how small and insignificant our planet is as one among trillions. I thought it chimed in with your feeling small in a big place…
